We have had reports of speed issues from various customers on this array. We found that new systems were added that shared the same hard drives physically. This has had an adverse affect on performance for both admin and production. We will be migrating this storage over to a new faster disk array to separate this traffic. This is a live migration and should not cause any downtime, but there is always the risk of downtime when large movements of data occur like this, thus the notification here.
